    Members of the 301st Fighter Wing Operations Group welcomed Col. Benjamin “Marsa” Harrison as their new commander, June 6, 2021, at U.S. Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas. 301 FW Commander Col. Allen Duckworth presided over the ceremony.
  • 301 FW members accelerate innovation, change in customer service

    In an effort to support Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Jr. 's “Accelerate Change or Lose” strategic approach and accompanying Action Orders to find innovative ways to implement new programs and processes to accelerate change, the 301st Fighter Wing is using awarded Squadron Innovation Funds to increase Airmen readiness by efficiently returning time back to its warriors through a new virtual kiosk/QR code customer service system.
  • 301 FW AMXS Load Crews compete to win

    Evaluators observed as four competing, three-person AMXS load crews loaded weapons on their respective F-16 Fighting Falcon. The crews moved quickly, while maintaining a strict attention to detail, speed, safety, and proficiency, with hopes of winning the 301 FW’s load crew of the year.
  • Reserve Airmen, PACAF distribute ops for AFFOR exercise

    Reserve Airmen from the 713th Combat Operations Squadron supported Headquarters Pacific Air Forces thousands of miles away for an Air Force Forces exercise, Feb. 3-11. More than 25 Reserve Airmen worked via distributed operations from Beale Air Force Base, Calif. with PACAF’s AFFOR staff at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.

  • Spads Honor Fallen POW, F-16 Program Founder

    F-16 pilots assigned to the 457th Fighter Squadron, 301st Fighter Wing, performed a "missing man" formation memorial flyover at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery to honor POW and F-16 program founder, Brigadier General Lyle Cameron on August 7. One of the six prototypes Cameron initiated was the lightweight General Dynamics fighter YF-16, which progressed into development as the F-16 Air Combat Fighter/Fighting Falcon Weapon System.     The 457th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, 301st Fighter Wing, Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas, continues to operate as a rotational presence out of the 71st Air Base, Campia Turzii, Romania, for a Theater Security Package after changing over their operations section last month.
