301 FW FTAC
Whether it’s Active Duty or the Air Force Reserve, the First Term Airmen Course (FTAC) is designed to help share the resources which are available to them when they arrive on their installation. These types of programs happen at Active Duty Air Force installations but, for the first time in the 301st Fighter Wing’s history, the wing hosted an FTAC for 11 of its newest members here from June 14 – 18, 2021. Key Spouse Conference
Air Force Reserve Key Spouse Mentors from around the country came together virtually May 7, to share their ideas, struggles and best practices. The Key Spouse Mentors conference also provided guidance and education on a host of Reserve programs available, resiliency and wellness techniques. Air Force releases updated fitness test score breakdown
Physical fitness testing will resume July 1, 2021. Several changes have been made to the test to include increasing scoring for push-ups and sit-ups from 10 to 20 points each, five-year age groups and the waist measurement no longer being required. The Air Force has also worked on alternative strength and cardiovascular testing exercise options with plans to announce them in the coming weeks. (U.S. Air Force graphic)

301 FW members accelerate innovation, change in customer service
The wing was awarded a customer service-friendly Queue Kiosk system through the 2020 Squadron Innovation Fund and this kiosk is located at the 301st Fighter Wing Force Support Squadron office entrance. This system allows customers to virtually sign-in using QR codes via their cell phone at their respective squadrons or sign-up via a web link in order to use their time more efficiently as well as see the waiting list in real-time.
