Virtual in-air refueling Trainer EARL

U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Aaron Bohl, 93rd Bomb Squadron commander, performs a virtual in-air refueling at StrikeWerx in Bossier City, Louisiana, Aug. 11, 2022. Bohl was testing software designed to B-52 Stratofortress Formal Training Unit students gain preliminary training for in-air refueling before attempting the actual maneuver in a real jet. StrikeWerx and LRWerx, the 307th Bomb Wing AFWerx spark cell, worked together with Specular Theory, a California-based software company, to develop the software.
