Col John Blocher in Afghanistan in 2005

Col John Blocher recently underwent brain surgery to correct an inner ear issue and had to learn to walk a straight line again. Despite that and a number of challenges throughout his Air Force career, Blocher says he couldn’t be happier because of balance in his life with his family and work, and the spiritual and physical aspects of his life.
