That Others May Live
Pararescuemen from the 306th Rescue Squadron load patients on a HH-60G Pave Hawk from the 305th Rescue Squadron helicopter during a pre-deployment training exercise in December 2011. Both the 305th and 306th Rescue Squadrons are part of the 943rd Rescue Group, which is the only rescue group in the entire Air Force Reserve. It's mission is to train personnel, with equipment, to achieve and maintain the capability to perform day or night combat rescue missions; search for, locate and recover U.S. Air Force and other Department of Defense personnel involved with U.S. defense activities; provide search and rescue support of civilians as directed by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center; and provide humanitarian and disaster relief operations.
