F-16 FIGHTING FALCON
The 419th Fighter Wing, Hill Air Force Base, Utah was the first Reserve unit to fly the F-16 Fighting Falcon and the only Air Force Reserve unit in Utah. The mission of the wing is to provide gaining commands a ready, fighting force through recruiting, equipping and training for worldwide combat. The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a compact, multi-role fighter aircraft. It is highly maneuverable and has proven itself in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attack. It provides a relatively low-cost, high-performance weapon system for the United States and allied nations. (Courtesy Photo)
