ARPC announces lieutenant colonel promotions

Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results for the Calendar Year 2014 Air Force Reserve Line and Non Line Lieutenant Colonel Promotion Selection Boards today. The boards selected more than 500 Citizen Airmen for promotion.

The selection boards convened at the center here June 9 - 13 to determine those officers best qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 525 of 1,269 officers considered.

Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurse Corps, Medical Services Corps, Biomedical Sciences Corps, Chaplains and Line of the Air Force Judge Advocates.

- 267 Line officers selected from 406 considered for a 66 percent selection rate.
- 9 Chaplains selected from 12 considered for a 75 percent selection rate.

- 18 MC officers selected from 23 considered for a 78 percent selection rate.
