The Air Force Reserve needs your help!  Next year, 2018, marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Air Force Reserve. To keep with tradition, inspire Airmen with heritage, and preserve the Air Force Reserve story, Air Force Reserve Command Headquarters will honor this anniversary with year-long activities planned across the command.

As we kick off the celebration in October, the first event will be a Challenge Coin design contest.  Members of the Air Force Reserve will have a chance to design one side, while the second side will represent Air Force Reserve Spouses.

Participating members of the Air Force Reserve will receive further guidance on how the contest for side one will commence.

Spouses have an opportunity to submit designs which best represent the support they have provided to the AF Reserve over the past 70 years. The spouse with the winning design will not only have bragging rights, but will receive public recognition during the AF Reserve Heritage Ball in April.

Designs must be able to fit on a 1.57” x 1.31” printable area and can be submitted as .pdf, .jpg, .png, .png, .tiff, or .svg file types.  Entries can also be designed by going to www.chiplab.com. Spouse entries must be submitted through their wing level Key Spouse no later than October 1, 2017 with a file name which includes the last name and unit, for example Smith10AF.pdf.

For further information, contact your Wing Key Spouse.
