Disaster Preparedness Month Published Sept. 8, 2017 By Tenth Air Force Public Affairs Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas -- As members of Tenth Air Force continue to recover from Hurricane Harvey and others evacuate and prepare for Hurricane Irma, we encourage everyone to take time and create their own disaster preparedness plans. September is Disaster Preparedness Month and with three formed hurricanes at this moment, wildfires raging through the Northwest United States and an earthquake in Mexico, it is an opportune time to remind service members to make sure their information is up to date in their service’s personnel accountability system. Also, please verify vital phone numbers and websites are accessible in case of an emergency. Our thoughts are with those who have endured the recent natural disasters and those preparing for storms to come.
