Colonel Allen E. Duckworth

Col. Allen E. Duckworth is the Vice Commander, Tenth Air Force, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas. Tenth Air Force is one of three numbered air forces in Air Force Reserve Command, and is responsible for command supervision of 17 units and over 19,000 total force Airmen. The mission sets of Tenth Air Force operate across multiple domains that include all fighter, bomber, special operations, rescue, airborne warning and control, fighter and bomber flying-training missions, combat air operations battle staff, remotely-piloted aircraft, space and cyber units in the Air Force Reserve Command. When mobilized or used in a full-time capacity, these units provide capability across a broad spectrum specifically to Air Combat Command, Air Force Special Operations Command, Pacific Air Forces,
Air Force Space Command, Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Education and Training Command and the Air Force Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Agency.

Colonel Duckworth earned his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1996. He entered the Air Force Reserve in 2005 after nine years on Active Duty as an A-10 combat pilot. Col. Duckworth is a command pilot with more than 3,300 flying hours in the A-10, T-6 and F-16. He amassed 450 combat hours in the A-10 supporting Operations ALLIED FORCE in 1999, SOUTHERN WATCH in 2000, IRAQI FREEDOM in 2003 and ENDURING FREEDOM in 2005. Prior to his current position, the Colonel was the commander, 301st Fighter Wing, Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas.
