HOMESTEAD AIR RESERVE BASE, Fla. --  

Congressional representatives from Illinois and Florida received a mission briefing and base tour from Col. S. James Frickel, 482nd Fighter Wing vice commander, at Homestead Air Reserve Base June 1.

Ranking Member of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs, Rep. Mike Bost, of Illinois and Rep. Carlos Gimenez of Florida also held a roundtable discussion with representatives from the Department of Veterans Affairs hospital in Miami and various South Florida veteran organizations here.

Frickel, Chief Master Sgt. Karie Contreras, acting 482nd Fighter Wing command chief, and other base representatives also participated in the roundtable discussion.
