345th EBS conduct Sept. 21 mission

A B-1 Lancer assigned to the 345th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron returns to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Sept. 21, after completing a sortie in support of a Bomber Task Force mission in international air space off the northern coast of Russia. Multiple B-1 Lancers from the unit joined with B-52 Stratofortress and B-2 Spirit bombers in a training mission designed to increase aircrew familiarity with different theaters of operation and assure NATO partners and allies of the continued U.S. commitment to stability and peace on the European continent.
