Maj. Christopher Zanetis, 101st Rescue Squadron pilot, 106th Rescue Wing, New York Air National Guard, is honored during a procession led by the Fire Department of New York through lower Manhattan March 29, 2018. Zanetis lost his life close to the Iraq/Syrian border when his aircraft, an HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopter crashed near the city of Al-Qa'im. Zanetis was a member of the New York City Fire Department.
