Col. Leonard Wood, Mo., June 20, 2007. The 303rd is part of the Air Force Reserve's 442nd Fighter Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo. The squadron flies virtually every day to Cannon Range to train for close air support and other combat missions. The range is managed by the Missouri Air National Guard's 131st Fighter Wing and serves as a vital training facility for Reserve, Guard and active-duty pilots from across the country.
